Discussion Questions

  • Have you prayed to God about any of these things? Why or why not?
  • What is holding you back from praying to God about what you want?

Memory Verse

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

Family Action Steps

Begin to pray 5-minute quick prayers this week. Ask him for what you need or what you need help with. Also pray this week for these things:

  1. Our nation and neighbors as we open things up following months of “staying safe at home.” Pray for our leaders to give us wise guidelines.
  1. Faith Community Church and our mission during a new season in the life of our church.
  1. One family in your life that does not know Jesus. Ask God to bless and protect them and to give you and your family an opportunity to love them and speak about Jesus to them.
