Frequently Asked Questions

What is "Family of Families"?

At Faith Community Church, much of what we do aligns with the core teaching of the church as God’s family. God – Father, Son and Spirit—are One in perfect community. God created the human family to reflect this communal aspect of his being. Even more, God is building the Church into a family of families that reflect this true aspect of who he is. The personal and collective character of the members of his family is transformed into the likeness of Christ as our love for each other and our neighbors draws more and more people into God’s household.

God’s church is designed to mirror the familial unity of who God is. Ephesians tells us that all the host of heaven is fascinated by the way God’s manifold wisdom is being revealed in this family of families (Eph. 3.10), created by our adoption into God’s household through Jesus’ death and resurrection. That is our glorious calling at Faith Community. We invite you to join us!

Does FCC observe communion?

Communion is celebrated the first weekend of each month. You don’t have to be a member to participate. We only ask that you be a Christ Follower. Communion bread and cups will be typically distributed by ushers.

How do I sign up to be baptized?

Baptisms are offered two or more times a year. If you believe that Jesus Christ is your Savior, would like to commit your life to following Him, and – as a believer – have not yet been baptized, please contact Becki Hedstrom at bhedstrom@fcchudson.com to sign up.

How do I sign up for a Child Dedication?

Child Dedications give parents the opportunity to enter into a public covenant with God, committing to raise their child in the name of Jesus, relinquishing all worldly claims upon their child’s life. This is modeled by Hannah in Samuel 1, along with Mary and Joseph in Luke 2.22-38. Child dedications are also a Family of Families covenant, as FCC partners with parents in the discipleship of their child, living out our Mission of making more and better disciples of Jesus Christ.

Child Dedications are offered quarterly, in January, April, July & October. For more information and specific dates, please pick up a Child Dedication brochure at the Info Center.

If interested, please contact Becki Hedstrom at bhedstrom@fcchudson.com at least 1 week before the scheduled dedication date.

Can I get financial help from FCC?

To start the approval process for financial assistance from the FCC Community Missions Committee, please contact the FCC office at (715) 386-4070.

How do I get a bulletin/worship folder announcement?

Announcements for the bulletin/worship folder are due on Wednesday at noon, unless otherwise indicated in the previous bulletin/worship folder. Announcements should be 100 words or less, and are subject to editing.

How do I reserve the Ministry Booth?

In order to best serve FCC and your ministry, please reserve the Ministry Booth a minimum of one month before your ministry is highlighted. Please email Becki Hedstrom at bhedstrom@fcchudson.com or 715.386.4070 to reserve the space. You will be contacted by Leanna Hafften regarding specific communication needs you may have.
