Tutapona means “we will be healed” in Swahili. Tutapona has helped tens of thousands of survivors of brutal civil wars find healing in the aftermath of unimaginably traumatic experiences. Today, Tutapona’s 25 staff in Uganda are working with refugees from conflicts in South Sudan, the DRC and other regional crises. The Gaedes have relocated to Iraq where they are now expanding Tutapona’s work to respond to the needs of refugees and IDPs from Iraq and Syria.
The Gaedes are members of Faith Community Church of New Richmond and receive financial support from all six member churches of the St. Croix Valley LEAD Team.
