NEW SERMON SERIES STARTS NEXT SUNDAY, APRIL 28

We'll be starting a study of the Book of Philippians in the worship services next Sunday. Invite a friend for this new series!

WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT WHO JESUS IS AND WHAT IT MEANS TO FOLLOW HIM?

Come on Thursday evening for Christianity Explored. It's an informal and relaxed seven-week course for anyone who has pondered what life’s all about. It gives you time and space to consider the life and person at the heart of the Christian faith—Jesus Christ. Each session includes discussion, a short DVD segment and a time for questions.

You don’t need to know anything about the Bible
You won’t be asked to read aloud, pray, sing or give a donation
You can ask any question you want, or just listen

Over the seven interactive classes, you will explore Mark’s Gospel to find out who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to follow him. A meal is served before the start of each class and childcare is provided. Both absolutely free of charge. Register for the class and for child care at fcchudson.com. Please join us and bring a friend!

When: April 25, 2019 through June 6, 2019

Where: Faith Community Church, 777 Carmichael Rd., Hudson, WI

Time: Meal served at 5:45pm; class starts at 6:30pm

AS WE GO DISCIPLESHIP WORKSHOP: REASONS THAT POINT TO FAITH

Led by Gregg Bennett and Jeff Burton

Sunday, April 28, | After both the 9 and 11 am services

In the Refuge Room | No registration, just come! This workshop will interact with some of the compelling facts, evidence, and rationale that strongly support a justified belief in God and the resurrection of Jesus. Scientific, moral, and biblical evidence will be utilized and drawn from short videos available from ReasonableFaith.org. It is hoped that those participating will come away encouraged and emboldened in knowing how strongly recent evidence from modern science supports one’s belief in God and how that belief in turn strongly supports the most logical explanation that God raised Jesus from the dead. The tools used are publicly available and should be useful for those interested. Time for questions is planned, welcomed, and encouraged!
