FALL REGISTRATIONS AND SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR KIDS AND STUDENTS

Our mission at Faith Community is to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ. In ou rministries that serve children and youth, we partner with parents as they disciple their child. This begisn in the nurseries and continues through high school.Registration is now open at fcchudson.com for our ministry programs.

  • For children ages 2 through 5th grade,we use the Desiring God curriculum on Sunday mornings in ourLifeShaping classes. LifeShaping is our Sunday morning education hour for Pre-K through 5th grade classes during both 9 and 11 am services.
  • On Wednesdays, we offer Awana Clubs for children ages 3 through 6th grade. This year, we’re celebrating 30 years of Awana Clubs at FCC. Awana offers Biblical teaching and scripture memorization combined with fun. There are also opportunities for teens to serve as junior leaders.
  • Also on Wednesdays, The Refuge youth ministry meets, starting with 6th through 8th graders from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. And high school students meet from 7 to 9 p.m. TheRefuge exists to strengthen students’ faith in Jesus, encouraging them to live faithfully and teaching them to be on mission every day.

In addition to registering your child or student, we also have opportunities to serve our children and youth.

NEW SERMON SERIES STARTS NEXT SUNDAY

Next Sunday, Sept. 2, we will begin a new sermon series on the books of Ruth and Esther. Thes series is about courage and loyalty when God seems far away. Ruthand Esther are biblical models of great courage and loyalty in dark times. Through this series, we’ll explore how God helps us to be courageous and faithful in dark times becauseGod is steadfastly merciful.

This is a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor you may have been thinking of inviting to a Sunday morning service.
