Announcements - Sunday, August 13, 2017

At Faith Community, our mission is to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ. In the next few weeks, many of our ministries that support discipleship across the generations will be starting up again for fall.

For children, this includes Sunday morning LifeShaping classes and Awana Clubs on Wednesdays. LifeShaping gets started on Sunday, September 24 and Awana kicks off on September 13.

There are a variety of ways open this fall to serve in these ministries, from listening to kids recite their verses or leading a small group on Wednesday nights at Awana to teaching or co-teaching a class of children on Sunday mornings.

If you’d like more information on what’s involved, please contact Brigitte Feia at about children’s LifeShaping and Kim Grosz at 715-386-1447 or Lisa Burton at 715-222-5657 about Awana.

Middle schoolers and high school students will be heading to The Refuge on Wednesdays and Sunday morning LifeShaping classes soon, too. Adult small group leaders for Wednesday nights at the Refuge are needed to come alongside students and their families, helping them through the exciting and sometimes difficult years of middle school high school. The Refuge kickoff is September 20. If you’d like more information on how you can serve, contact Ben McMullen at

This year, we’re excited to offer even more classes to equip adults for discipleship. Visit the events and registrations area of to learn more about all the classes that start on Thursday, August 17.

Thursday nights at FCC start with a complimentary meal at 5:45 pm and childcare is available to children through age 9. Children age 10 and older will be invited to serve in the nurseries.

If you’d like to serve by helping prepare meals or do kitchen clean up on Thursday nights, contact Gary Nourse at
