The mission of Faith Community Church is to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ. FCC’s Women’s Ministry wants to help women practice, progress and persist In their faith, living as women entrusted in Christ’s care. The theme throughout women’s ministry this year is based on The Scripture, 1 Timothy 4:15-16:
“Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist on this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.”
One way FCC’s Women’s Ministry helps women to be trained to live out our mission is through LATTE events, and the next LATTE event taking place here at FCC is coming up this Saturday, Feb. 24th, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Author and speaker, Heather Flies will speak on the importance of fellowship in discipleship. This will be a lively event with worship, laughs, and most importantly - time spent together learning more about Christ and His works.
This is a FREE event, so invite your friends and neighbors to come with you! A light breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. and the program will begin at 9:30 a.m. If you need child care, tomorrow, Feb. 19, is the deadline to register. This helps us plan for child care workers in the nursery.
