FCC offered a workshop, Bringing Home the Gospel, after both services to help equip FCC for discipleship. In a panel-style discussion facilitated by Diane Bennett, Pat Stream and Emily Graham offered practical tools on applying the gospel to some of our closest relationships: relationships in the home with our families or roommates.
FCC will be hosting our next Faith Forum on “The Gospel and the Sanctity of Human Life,” on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. We’ve invited Brian Gibson, a national leader in the pro-life movement, to speak. Since 1986, he has served as executive director of Pro-Life Action Ministries.
Some topics are so crucial, current, debated and/or divisive, they require focused attention in addition to sermons. Faith Community introduced Faith Forums in 2015 as an additional way to offer biblical perspective on culturally relevant topics. Forums include a time of Q & A, and opportunities for respectful dialogue with other believers.
Childcare is available during the forum for children through age 5. To help us in planning staff for the nursery, please register each child for child care by this Tuesday, Nov. 7. You can learn more about the forum and register for childcare at fcchudson.com/registrations.
We will be celebrating baptisms in both services on Sunday, Nov. 19! If you would like to take this step in your faith journey, contact Becki at firstname.lastname@example.org or 715.386.4070 by Sunday, Nov. 10.
Heart For The Valley is a student-led service event that seeks to provide a Christmas meal for those in need during the holidays, as well as giving extra food to stock their cupboards. Students will be packing and delivering meals on Wednesday, December 20. A $60 donation will provide a meal and additional pantry items for one family. Please DONATE online at fcchudson.com/hftv before November 30! Thank you!
