Hello everyone! I miss seeing you in person. I am so glad we get to join together every Sunday for FCC Online. I received a lot of feedback about how God was moving during our time together on Sunday. I am so glad that so many took the time to listen to the Spirit about what virtue he was calling you to put on. Blessed are the pure in heart; blessed are the merciful; blessed are the humble; blessed are the peacemakers.

One of our sons said that he knew he needed to work on being a peacemaker. We’ve been talking about it all week, and I am praying for him about it.

How is Jesus helping you to grow this week in being merciful, humble, or pure in heart? What is God teaching you right now? Share your story with us at fcchudson.com.

A lot has changed, but the Spirit’s power hasn’t changed! We are one church meeting in a lot of living rooms right now.

This Sunday we will continue our new series on Jesus’ most famous sermon—the Sermon on the Mount. Make sure you join in and invite a friend to watch with you and talk about the service and the sermon. This week, Jesus will show us that we are not just a church meeting in living rooms, but also a church scattered to be both salt and light in the world.

Find the online sermon guide with the option to download and print at fcchudson.com.

Maybe you’ve been around FCC for a while or maybe you are new--I just want to remind you we have small groups meeting online all over the valley. We call them missional communities. They are a place to belong, grow, and serve. Encouraging one another, caring for one another and serving our neighbors.

We would love for you to join up with us in missional communities. If you would like to connect with other followers of Jesus in your neighborhood, please contact us through this link at Next Steps.

In this week’s Faith & Life video, Pat Stream, FCC’s Pastor of Counseling, talks about a Faith and Life Conversation, which is an online event happening on Tuesday, April 28, at 7:00pm. We are all experiencing some of the risk factors for depression, and Pat is hosting this free online conversation to empower us for God personally helps us in our sadness, and there will also be a time to pray together. I think this will be a very important time. Please watch the video to hear more. REGISTER for the Faith & Life Conversation at this link.

FCC, God is moving. Even if we can’t see him, he is still working.  Keep your eyes open each day for ways he is providing, leading, and personally caring for you. Keep your eyes open for opportunities he is bringing to you to invite someone to meet Jesus.

Please pray for our leadership team as we’re developing a working group to help us with how we can wisely and safely gather together, as our states go through the stages of opening up again.  I look forward to being in person with you soon, but until then…see you this Sunday for FCC Online at https://fcchudson.online.church.
