✎ Download Sermon + Conversation Guide

Friday UpDate - March 19, 2021

Hi, Faith Community! On Sunday, we’ll continue on in our study of James’ letter and learn Rule #11 for living an inspired life: Pray. (It makes a difference.)

We will also be celebrating communion in the services on Sunday. Communion is very important for remembering Jesus' death, resurrection, and return and also for our unity together as a church.  If you will be watching online, please make plans to have grape juice with bread or crackers available to celebrate communion at home with your family.

  • Find the sermon and conversation guide online with the option to download and print at and also on the app.

COMMUNION SERVICE | Thursday, April 1, at 7pm

Join us for a communion service on Thursday, April 1, at 7pm, that will help us remember Christ’s redemptive sacrifice of love on the cross. Surrounding this theme of the cross, we will sing songs, hear a devotional message, and take communion together within a service that will last about one hour, and will be held in-person and online at, YouTube and Facebook. Childcare will not be available for the communion service.

YOUR STORY MATTERS. SHARE IT! | Submit Your Defined by Grace Video

This Easter, we are inviting you to be a part of a video montage showing how God’s grace has made a difference in so many people’s lives.

  • Here is how you can be a part: simply submit a 30-second video (give or take!) of yourself sharing a “snapshot” of God’s goodness in your life!
  • Find more details at the bottom of our Easter page!

On Monday, we started 21 days of prayer leading up to Easter. Here are a few prayer points I would love for you to pray:

  1. Pray daily for our whole church, that we would be defined by grace and filled with the hope of Jesus’ resurrection.
  2. Pray daily for our whole church, that we would have joy in Jesus that overflows to telling others about Jesus and inviting friends and neighbors to follow him.
  3. Pray for eyes to see how God is working around you, and how you can join in on what he is doing.

Lastly, I ask you to invite someone you are praying for to view one of our Easter services online, or join you in person. Invite them to one of the services and then consider connecting with them for brunch or a meal afterward. (Find downloadable Easter invitation graphics at the bottom of our Easter page!)

Loving childcare givers are needed for the second service (11am) on Sundays. This is a great opportunity to have a HUGE impact on young families, their experience with God’s kindness and with FCC!  We have positions available with a commitment as little as a once-a-month, weekly, a hired position. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact Karen at 715-220-2507. Thank you!

This year, VBS is scheduled for the week of July 19th. Save the date on your calendar! More details coming soon.
