Hello, FCC!
Isn’t it great to see all of the green grass and buds on the trees? Spring just does my heart good.
I really miss seeing you all in person. We now have a working group formed to get ready to welcome you back into the building and encourage gathering together, while maintaining online services, with each phase of our state’s opening up. But I am so grateful we get to join together every Sunday for FCC Online!
We will continue our new series on Jesus’ most famous sermon—the Sermon on the Mount. The focus this week is on how Jesus wants to do a deep change in our hearts, so our relationships become stronger.
Make sure you join in at https://fcchudson.online.church and invite a friend to experience the service with you and then talk about Jesus afterward.
Find the online sermon guide with the option to download and print at fcchudson.com.
I have some exciting news. Our FaithWorks planning team is up and running and they are getting ready to help us be on mission together in our neighborhoods this June 22-26. In this season it will look different, but we are excited to see how God will lead us and send us to serve our neighbors this year. Mark your calendars for June 22-26, and we will be sending out more details as soon as they become available. Please start praying for this important time of serving, too.

This week we had a great response to our first FAITH in Life online conversation about grief, sadness, and depression and how God personally helps us. It was led by our Pastor of Counseling, Pat Stream. You can watch the video and find the presentation slides from the online FAITH & Life Conversation that took place earlier this week at fcchudson.com.
Pastor Larry Szyman offered a special message in this week’s FAITH & Life video about using your frustrations for transformation. Pastor Pat Stream will be leading another free online FAITH & Life Conversation on "Dealing with Disappointment & Frustration during COVID-19" next Tuesday night, May 5, from 7:00 to 8:00pm through Zoom.
FAITH & Life Conversations are offered at no cost and are open to anyone who would like to attend, so please share this information with a friend, neighbor or co-worker.

Thank you for the many ways you are serving our neighbors across the St. Croix Valley! We’ve put together some resources in the “Serving Our Neighbors” post on the FCC blog to help you reach out to your friends and neighbors, including:
Although we’re all experiencing a lot of change right now, our mission stays the same: to help everyone meet, know and follow Jesus. We have an opportunity to reach thousands through our new online services and resources. Your faithful giving helps support our shared mission. Thank you for your generosity!
