✎ Download Sermon + Conversation Guide

Friday UpDate - October 23, 2020

Hello, Faith Community!

I’m excited to worship with you this weekend! On Sunday, we’ll be talking about our relationships and how God wants them to be strong. Come on campus or join online and invite a friend, too!

  • Find the sermon and conversation guide online with the option to download and print at and also on the app.

Also, a reminder to parents, that second graders and two-year-olds will receive Bibles from FCC this Sunday. Each fall, FaithCommunity Church gives Bibles to all two-year-olds and second graders because the Bible tells the powerful and unique story of Jesus. Parents of two-year-olds may pick up a Bible in the two-year-old nursery and second graders may pick up their Bibles in the Community Room before, during or after the 9am or 11am FaithKids LifeShaping. If your two-year-old or second grader will not be at FCC that day, please make special arrangements to pick up a Bible.

  • For a Bible for a two-year-old, contact Karen Garden, Director of Early Childhood, at 715-220-2507.
  • For a Bible for a second grader, contact Brigitte Feia, Director of Children's Discipleship at

*Volunteers are needed to staff the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drop Off at FCC from Nov 16 - Nov 23. We will be providing a curbside drop off process this year.

  • Volunteers are needed to unload shoeboxes from cars and pack them into cartons.
  • Heavy lifters are also needed at the end of each shift to load heavy cartons (40 to 50 pounds) into a trailer.
  • For more information and to sign up:
  • Contact Lynn Hawksford with questions at 715-377-5944.

*Loving child care workers are needed for the 9am service on Sunday mornings in the nurseries and preschool rooms, which serve families with children (newborn through age 5) throughout the year. Consider helping one time, once a month, or more. If this is an area in which God has gifted you, please contact Karen Garden at 715.220.2507 or

Watch a short video to learn about Heart for the Valley.

Through Heart for the Valley, middle school and high school students from Faith Community Church serve the surrounding community by packing a Christmas meal for families, as well as giving extra food to stock their cupboards! Last year, because of the generosity of FCC, students distributed meals to more than 156 families in the Hudson area! We had over 175 middle school, high school and adult volunteers to make this event a success.

This year, students from FCC will pack meals for families to pick up on Saturday,December 19, from 9:00-11:00am. Working alongside the Hudson Backpack Program and County Market, the goal is to serve more than 150 families in our neighborhoods.

Want to help support Heart For the Valley? Each $60 tax-deductible donation allows students from FCC to pack two full boxes of food to each family, including a Christmas meal with extra food for their cupboards. Please consider donating any amount to help feed families in our neighborhoods! Learn more and make a donation at or the FaithBase app.

The next child dedications will take place on Sunday, November 22, during the9:00am and 11:00am services. Learn more and get registered at or the FaithBase app.
