We received the following message from Ken Nabi, Regional President of Converge Great Lakes, related to Hurricane Dorian. Faith Community Church is a part of Converge, which is a network of nearly 1300 churches throughout the U.S. Converge seeks to help start and strengthen churches nationally and globally.
Dear Pastors and Leaders:
As we have watched the news this week, we have seen the destruction caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Caribbean. Five of our Converge churches have been impacted by Dorian's power. Converge Southeast is coordinating relief efforts for the Converge Southeast churches in the Bahamas. They have heard from Raoul Armbrister, a pastor in Freeport, Bahamas. The Armbristers are safe but have confirmed the wreckage left in Dorian's path. Please pray with us for them and the people there. We will know more about relief efforts soon. In the meantime, Converge Southeast has started a fund to allow people who want to give to relief efforts a place to contribute financially.
We are Converge. When one part of the body suffers, we all grieve. For more details, and to hear from Converge Southeast's Executive Minister, Ernie Cabrera, click the link below.
