In Christ there is no more condemnation.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8.1

Some of the sweetest words in the Bible are recorded here in these verses. As we follow through Paul’s argument, we are brought to the place where all people everywhere are under God’s wrath because of individual sin. But God in his mercy has put forth Jesus to live for us and die for us. Jesus took the condemnation that we deserve, so we can receive the justification he deserves.

Being in Christ means that Jesus took on himself what our sin deserves. Being in Christ means that what Jesus deserves, we receive. Because of God’s work in Jesus, because of God’s great mercy, we now experience no condemnation. Today, as you go through the day, rest your heart in this truth. In Christ there is no more condemnation.

We invite you to attend a worship service at FCC on Sundays at 9 and 11 am.
