Happy Wednesday, FCC! I know I keep saying this, but I am really looking forward to seeing you all in person very soon! But God is still at work, even as we are one church meeting in many living rooms!

We want to help everyone meet, know, and follow Jesus, and this last Sunday through your prayers, two new people said yes to Jesus while worshiping with us online! I am so encouraged by God’s work in and through us! This was an historic Easter celebration for us—the first time in history when the church gathered online to celebrate the hope of a relationship with Jesus—and the Spirit was drawing people to Jesus!

Remember, in the middle of all kinds of change, God hasn’t changed, and his mission hasn’t changed! Let’s keep praying for God to give us more and more opportunities to invite others to meet Jesus and follow him!

I want you to know that you are being prayed for and I am regularly hearing great reports about small group discipleship continuing and missional community Zoom meetings taking place. God is at work in some very remarkable ways!

Would you join with us in small group discipleship? We have small groups and missional communities meeting online, and if you are not yet connected, we would love to connect with you. Missional Communities are a place to belong, grow in becoming more like Jesus and serve. They offer care and support to one another through life’s celebrations and times of need, too. Watch the video at this link to learn more. Get connected with a Missional Community at or the Faith Base app. Missional Communities are continuing to meet virtually through online meetings.

  • New series starts this Sunday!

last things first art

New series starts this Sunday!

We all want to live the good life. Each of us is seeking deep happiness—fulfillment and satisfaction. Jesus shows us a way of living that turns our priorities upside down. True fulfillment comes when we put last things first. This Sunday, we begin a new series on the Jesus’ most famous teaching—the sermon on the mount. This Sunday is all about Jesus’ way to experience lasting fulfillment and happiness!

  • Join us this Sunday at 9 or 11am for online church at or on Facebook.
  • Personally invite a friend to an online service with a text, email or through social media, too! More than ever, people want to stay connected. Reach out to a friend and personally invite them to watch an online service and then have a follow up conversation with them, to ask them what they thought, and see how you can help them take their next step.

Listen to this week’s worship music playlist on Spotify. Check it out here. (You’ll need to sign up for a free Spotify account to listen, if you don’t already have one.)

Phil. 4:19 (Hope/Trust)
