Happy Wednesday, FCC! Last night, all of our pastors and elders gathered together and prayed for our church and our mission. I just want to start out to today by saying, we are so thankful for you and the work that God is doing in and through us all!
We will take our next step in our series in 1 Corinthians with a focus on "What Unites Us" from 1 Corinthians 1.10-17. We will also celebrate communion together, so make sure you have bread and wine or grape juice ready, if you are joining in online!
Watch or listen to the sermons in the “Is Christ Divided?” series at fcchudson.com.
Please let us know your seating preference!
As you may know, the Wisconsin Supreme Court revoked the governor’s emergency order that mandated masking and social distancing. You can learn more about the Elders' response to this change by clicking this link.
One change we'll be making to provide a worship environment for attendees who desire the protection that masking may provide AND to accommodate those who are seeking a less restrictive environment, is to establish "Masks Required At All Times" and "Masks Optional” sections in our worship service.
To help establish the size of each section, we'd appreciate your answers to this survey by Wednesday, April 14. We estimate it will take you less than a minute to complete. (Thank you for your participation! The survey is now closed.)
An important step in following Jesus is baptism. In consultation with local health workers, we want to offer you an opportunity to take a next step to be baptized. If you have said yes to following Jesus, but haven’t been baptized yet, we invite you to sign up to be baptized.
If you are hesitant because of COVID-19 concerns to join us on campus for your baptism, we would love to assist you in celebrating your relationship with Jesus in a setting more helpful to you. Whether you'd like to be baptized during an in-person service on Sunday, May, or in a different setting, please sign up at fcchudson. com or on the app, and Pastor Larry Szyman will follow up with you.
FCC is looking for 1 to 2 volunteers over the age of 18 to serve on the mowing crew this summer. Commitment involves mowing the church grounds one time per month throughout the growing season. If you have any questions or would like to serve in this way, please contact Facilities Manager, Josh Graham at email@example.com. Thanks!
Hebrews 4:15 (God’s character)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
