Happy Wednesday, FCC! I sure hope you were able to join us for worship this last weekend in person or online. It was a great time celebrating Jesus’ resurrection, that our greatest enemy has been defeated. It was also great to be challenged by grace and, like Paul, to build our identity on God’s grace to us in Jesus!
Watch or listen to the “Defined by Grace” sermon from Easter Sunday at fcchudson.com or on the app.
Just as a reminder, Paul tells us that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is directed toward us every day (Ephesians 1.19-21)! You are not alone—God is with you! Whatever you are facing today, God’s power is greater, and because of grace, you have access to it!
This Sunday, we are starting a series on 1 Corinthians, a letter penned by the Apostle Paul to a church that was going through some of the challenges we are facing today. Part 1 of this series is entitled “Is Christ Divided?” The answer, of course, is “no!” We will seek to learn from Paul in the Scriptures and follow the lead of the Holy Spirit to increase in our unity as a church with grace and humility.
Ephesians 2:10 (Gospel)
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
