Hello, FCC! We hope you are keeping warm on this extremely cold day! The FCC office is closed today, and many ministries have canceled activities this week. You can stay up to date on the cancellations at fcchudson.com or the app.
This week, Pastor Tim Porter is at the UNLEASH Conference, which is a Converge conference for pastors. He is making a presentation on reshaping a large church to missional communities. He is also facilitating a peer-to-peer group made up of lead pastors of churches with 500 to 800 attendees.
Being made in God’s image, we all have a heart, and the heart is our control center. We do what we do because we want what we want. We all desire purpose, victory, justice, belonging, and many other good things. This Sunday, Pastor Tim Prince will teach on our desire for happiness. Watch or listen to sermons in the “Every Human Heart” series at fcchudson.com or the app.
Pastor Larry Szyman and FCC Elder John Blum have just returned from the final due diligence trip to Uganda, to ensure that FCC's goal of seeing an African-led, disciple making, church planting movement takes root in northern Uganda. On January 25, 44 men signed three-year covenants (pictured above) with Four Corners, Training Leaders International and the St. Croix Valley LEAD Team with a goal of an abiding network of gospel-centered, Bible saturated, African-led churches! You can read the updates from Pastor Larry on the FCC blog at fcchudson.com or on the FCC app:
