COME MEET FCC’S GLOBAL PARTNERS, THE GAEDES (WITH TUTAPONA), ON SUNDAY, JUNE 25!

Tutapona founders, Carl and Julie Gaede will be in the worship gatherings at FCC at 9 and 11 am on Sunday, June 25. Tutapona provides trauma rehabilitation programs to the most vulnerable people in the world. The forgotten millions. The ones living in refugee camps, fleeing war zones and fighting for their lives.

In 2008 Carl and Julie Gaede followed God’s calling to East Africa to work with child soldiers.  It was here Tutapona was birthed and begun as the Gaedes moved themselves and their two young girls to Uganda.  In just 8 years, Tutapona provided trauma rehabilitation programs to over 36,000 people.  In 2016 the Gaede family moved to Iraq to set up the first Tutapona office in the Middle East to work with Syrian, Kurdish, and Yazidi brothers and sisters who have been scarred by the effects of the conflict around them.

SAVE THE DATE – ELDER RECEPTION FOR STEVE BRADT – SUNDAY, JULY 2

Steve Bradt has faithfully served the FCC family of families for many years as an Elder. Please save the date for a reception to honor him as he retires from this role. Watch for more details coming soon!

THIS WEEK’S MEMORY VERSE

With the Romans series, we have a schedule for memorizing key verses—together as a church—which are crucial for helping us preach the gospel to ourselves and encourage one another as we seek to live out the gospel in all of life. The verses all come from Romans, and correspond to the preaching schedule. Pick up a memory verse card this Sunday to help you memorize the verses each week:

13 For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith. 14 For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.

(Romans 4:13-14)

WORTH REPEATING

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY – SUMMER LEADERS & ASSISTANTS (FOR 4’S & 5’S)

The nurseries continue to serve our families with children from newborn through age 5 during the summer. Summer leaders and assistants are needed in both the 9 and 11 a.m. worship services for the LifeShaping class for four- and five-year-olds.

Everything is planned, prepared and ready for you to teach the lesson. The class time includes a story, small craft, color sheet, snack and play time. Consider helping one time, once a month, or for the entire summer. If this is an area in which God has gifted you, please contact Karen Garden at 715.220.2507 or Karen_garden@yahoo.com.

MEMORY VERSES FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 4

21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, Through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus... (Romans 3:21-24)
