Hi, FCC! Pastor Tim Porter is away from the office today. You'll find the latest FCC news and events in today's newsletter!
On Sunday, we’ll continue on in our study of James’ letter and learn Rule #11 for living an inspired life: Pray. (It makes a difference.)
We will also be celebrating communion in the services on Sunday. Communion is very important for remembering Jesus' death, resurrection, and return and also for our unity together as a church. If you will be watching online, please make plans to have grape juice with bread or crackers available to celebrate communion at home with your family.
Come celebrate the risen Jesus with us! Filled with music, stories of transformation and an inspiring message from Pastor Tim Porter, our Easter services are designed to highlight the resurrection of Jesus and showcase the power that God’s grace can provide to change our lives. Services will be held both in person and online. We have maximum capacities per service, so RSVP for your seats today! Find more info and RSVP for your on campus seat at fcchudson.com/easter.
Join us for a communion service on Thursday, April 1, at 7pm, that will help us remember Christ’s redemptive sacrifice of love on the cross. Surrounding this theme of the cross, we will sing songs, hear a devotional message, and take communion together within a service that will last about one hour, and will be held in-person and online at fcchudson.com, YouTube and Facebook. Childcare will not be available for the communion service.
This Easter, we are inviting you to be a part of a video montage showing how God’s grace has made a difference in so many people’s lives.
We'll see you back next week!
Philippians 4:6-7 (Anxiety)
6 … do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Loving childcare givers are needed for the second service (11am) on Sundays. This is a great opportunity to have a HUGE impact on young families, their experience with God’s kindness and with FCC! We have positions available with a commitment of as little as once-a-month, or a weekly, hired position. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact Karen at 715-220-2507. Thank you!
This year, VBS is scheduled for the week of July 19th. Save the date on your calendar! More details coming soon.
