Happy Early Mother’s Day, Moms! We can’t wait to celebrate with you online this Sunday! Make sure you join in with us--we have something special planned for you!
We are looking forward to joining back together in person soon. We have a working group focused on helping us to be ready to gather together safely, as our state walks through opening back up. Would you please pray for the team--for wisdom and care as we move ahead with courage, and trust in Jesus' presence and goodness? We’ll keep you updated each step of the way.
God has been working in my heart as we go through Jesus’ sermon on the mount. I have been encouraged as well by reports of how the Spirit is working in you as we gather online. One way that God has been working in me is by building up my prayer life. This week, Jesus teaches us how to pray. Jesus has a surprise for us in his teaching about prayer. I can’t wait to know more about it and put it into practice as we gather together this Sunday!
Invite your mom and/or invite a friend to watch with you, and then talk about Jesus afterward, 9 and 11 Sunday at https://fcchudson.online.church, or on Facebook or YouTube.
Every week we have a follow up to the sermon that’s for the whole family, and helps us all live out what we are learning. From Jesus. Watch for this week’s Faith at Home video later today at fcchudson.com.
Listen to this week’s worship music playlist on Spotify. Check it out here. (You’ll need to sign up for a free Spotify account to listen, if you don’t already have one.)
Testimonies are a powerful tool for sharing Christ's love with one another. This Saturday morning, a group of FCC women will be sharing how God took hold of their hearts and led them to Christ, followed by a time of discussion. Learn more on how to be a part of this free online event at fcchudson.com. Invite a friend, too!
This year's FCC Marriage Retreat theme is ANCHORED by God’s Soul-Shaping Love and Strength:
The weekend is for all marriages, whether you are new to marriage or well-seasoned. Couples come for a variety of reasons, from setting aside time away to focus on their relationship, to setting goals for the next year, to reconnecting with other couples. The weekends are planned around a mixture of solid biblical teaching, social interaction, time alone as a couple and good meals. Learn more about the schedule for the weekend, what other couples have to say about past retreats, plus registration info at fcchudson.com.
Col. 3:12-13 (Patience/Forgiveness)
12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Although we’re all experiencing a lot of change right now, our mission stays the same: to help everyone meet, know and follow Jesus. We have an opportunity to reach thousands through our new online services and resources. Your faithful giving helps support our shared mission. Thank you for your generosity!
