Happy Early Mother’s Day, Moms! We can’t wait to celebrate with you online this Sunday! Make sure you join in with us--we have something special planned for you!

We are looking forward to joining back together in person soon. We have a working group focused on helping us to be ready to gather together safely, as our state walks through opening back up. Would you please pray for the team--for wisdom and care as we move ahead with courage, and trust in Jesus' presence and goodness? We’ll keep you updated each step of the way.

God has been working in my heart as we go through Jesus’ sermon on the mount. I have been encouraged as well by reports of how the Spirit is working in you as we gather online. One way that God has been working in me is by building up my prayer life. This week, Jesus teaches us how to pray. Jesus has a surprise for us in his teaching about prayer. I can’t wait to know more about it and put it into practice as we gather together this Sunday!

Invite your mom and/or invite a friend to watch with you, and then talk about Jesus afterward, 9 and 11 Sunday at, or on Facebook or YouTube.

Every week we have a follow up to the sermon that’s for the whole family, and helps us all live out what we are learning. From Jesus. Watch for this week’s Faith at Home video later today at

Listen to this week’s worship music playlist on Spotify. Check it out here. (You’ll need to sign up for a free Spotify account to listen, if you don’t already have one.)

LATTE WOMEN’S MINISTRY Online event  |  Saturday, May 9, 9:30am to noon

Testimonies are a powerful tool for sharing Christ's love with one another. This Saturday morning, a group of FCC women will be sharing how God took hold of their hearts and led them to Christ, followed by a time of discussion. Learn more on how to be a part of this free online event at Invite a friend, too!

FCC MARRIAGE RETREAT  |  SEPT. 18-20  |  The Lodge at Crooked Lake in Siren, WI

This year's FCC Marriage Retreat theme is ANCHORED by God’s Soul-Shaping Love and Strength:

  • Securing your relationship for the long haul
  • Removing your attachment to false anchors
  • Protecting your relationship with spiritual practices
  • Strengthening companionship through shared communion with God

The weekend is for all marriages, whether you are new to marriage or well-seasoned. Couples come for a variety of reasons, from setting aside time away to focus on their relationship, to setting goals for the next year, to reconnecting with other couples. The weekends are planned around a mixture of solid biblical teaching, social interaction, time alone as a couple and good meals. Learn more about the schedule for the weekend, what other couples have to say about past retreats, plus registration info at

Col. 3:12-13 (Patience/Forgiveness)

12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Missional Communities are a great place to have people speak truth into our lives. They are the core element of Faith Community’s discipleship, and we'd love to help you get connected with a Missional Community:

  • They are a place to belong, grow in becoming more like Jesus and serve.
  • They offer care and support to one another through life’s celebrations and times of need, too.
  • Within Missional Communities, smaller discipleship groups offer a place to be mentored, while studying God’s word and learning to apply it to all of life.

Watch the video at this link to learn more. Get connected with a Missional Community at or the Faith Base app. Missional Communities are continuing to meet virtually through online meetings.

Search for "Faith Community Hudson" on the App Store or Google Play to download FCC's app today. You'll find sermon audio and video, the weekly videos, latest news, online giving and more!

PRAYER REQUESTS + CARE NEEDS are posted on the Prayer + Care wall on the FaithBase app. You can also sign up on the app under “Emails + Registrations,” if you would like to receive an email when new prayer requests and care needs are posted.
