Happy Wednesday, FCC!
God is at work! I am happy to report two weeks in a row, that someone said “yes” to Jesus again this week. God works in so many ways! Sometimes in our worship gatherings, sometimes in counseling appointments, other times with neighbors. It is a joy to be on mission with you! Let’s keep an eye out for who the Holy Spirit is bringing our way.
This Sunday we continue our series, "Better Together," answering the question how participation in church is a spiritual family for all of us.
Whether you watch at home or are on campus on Sundays, you matter to us and you matter to God, and we are one church with one mission: to help everyone meet, know and follow Jesus.
Submitted by the River Falls Missional Community Leaders
For more than two years, the missional focus of the River Falls Missional Community (MC) has been on building gospel-centered relationships with families served by Options for Women (a pregnancy resource center in downtown River Falls). With the onset of COVID-19, our normal rhythms of engaging one another and clients changed dramatically, but God continued to grow the size of our MC. With a desire to develop leaders and plant another MC in River Falls, our leadership team began praying and pursuing another mission focus and laborers who would be willing to form a second MC. God in His kindness provided families, who are willing to launch a second MC, and unity around a common mission focus of reaching international students studying at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF).
We are grateful to God for the unity, faithfulness and perseverance that He has worked in us as we have done life together over these past years. We have seen God deepen our love for one another as we have walked together through suffering. God has grown our understanding and love for the Gospel as we have ministered to one another in family and discipleship group gatherings. We are thankful for the opportunities to enter into the work that God is already doing in clients from Options for Women and International Students attending UWRF.
Our hope for the future is that God would continue to work through us and draw people to himself. We desire to see more leaders developed and MC’s planted throughout the neighborhoods of River Falls. We would ask for prayer for wisdom and discernment for leadership teams, unity and love for one another and that God would save clients and students we are seeking to reach with the Gospel.

1 Peter 4:19 (Suffering)
Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.
