How do you handle information collected though contact forms or comments?

The only personal data collected through this site is what you voluntarily enter.

When you use our Contact Form, the information collected simply allows us to reply to you or answer any questions. If you are asking about a specific ministry, this information may also be shared with that ministry leader.

 If you leave a comment on the site, we ask for your name and email address (the latter is not displayed on the site). Your email is secure and will not be displayed. We need to make sure you are a person and not a spammer. (We don’t like spam either) We reserve the right to remove or approve comments submitted.

Do you share or store my information?

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. When you submit a prayer request, you are asked where you want it shared. We follow your wishes completely. It is never shared outside of those areas. When you create a message, it is sent only to the person you designate in your selection. Depending on the purpose or content of the message, it may be shared with relevant parties with your permission.

What is your policy about confidential requests?

Your privacy is very important to us. We never share confidential information outside of the intended recipient. However, by its very nature transmission across the Internet is never guaranteed to be secure. If you have a highly confidential message, please make an appointment with one of our pastors and come in to discuss it.

I give my tithes/offerings online or by text and/or I pay for event registrations online through FaithBase. Is my financial information safe?

Financial information processed through FaithBase, provided by TouchPoint Software, and text giving, powered by Txt2Give, is safe and secure. When you connect to registration or payment form, you are connected to a secure server that is not connected to the FCC web server. Online giving, event registrations and text giving for Faith Community Church are processed by the third party vendor, Sage Payment Solutions. Sage Payment Solutions, Faith Community Church, TouchPoint Software and Txt2Give are all PCI compliant organizations. Your financial information is never stored on our public web server.

What are Cookies?

Does FCC use Cookies?

Google Analytic uses cookies to collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

Do you monitor external links?

Faith Community Church is not responsible for the availability or content of external sites that may be linked to, from the site. If you find a broken link or if you have any questions or concerns about a link, please contact us.

What if I don’t agree with some of your policies?

By using our website, you are indicating your agreement to our terms and policies. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website. You may send any concerns you have or comments about the website through our contact page. Your concern may be shared with the Lead Pastor, Tim Porter. We value your comments.
