What is FaithWorks?

FaithWorks is a week-long event at FCC where we practice the love of Jesus and our value as a church for being devoted to community.

Every year during the third week of June, hundreds of volunteers, young and old, from Faith Community Church roll up their sleeves to serve on various projects around the St. Croix Valley. Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in an effort to bless our community and show them the love of our Savior in a tangible way.

Volunteers from FCC donate their time and skill to complete home, yard, garden, and landscape projects for those in need of help in the Hudson and the surrounding communities.

It may be for an elderly person who is limited in strength or mobility, a single parent who is strapped for time or resources, a young couple unsure of the best way to complete a project, a person or family facing injury or illness, or sometimes people who could just use a helping hand around their home if their time or resources are limited.

The goal of FaithWorks is to love our neighbors and serve our community, seeking the good of our city together because of Jesus.

Nominate a Project!

We are NOW collecting project nominations for our annual FaithWorks week of service. Volunteers from FCC will be ready for the week of June 15 to travel out into the St. Croix Valley and provide acts of service and kindness to those in need of support.

We are looking for your project nominations!

Do you have a neighbor or local friend, family member, or co-worker who could use help with:

• Home repair or maintenance

• Garden or landscape work

• Painting, building, or handiwork

• Plumbing or electric work

• Cleaning or organizing

• House or yardwork for adults

• House or yardwork that young children (ages 5 – 12) can help with

Are you, yourself in need of any of the above?

We want to hear from you and will do all that we can to match our workers and skill sets with the projects you submit.

All nominations will need to include the address of the project work as well as an email address for the homeowner.

Our project team will make home visits for nominations to assess the work that has been requested, so you’ll want to make sure the homeowner is aware of the nomination! (We also sometimes email a liability waiver.)
