FCC Global Mission Prayer Update

Mission Focus Moment: Steve and Nopaluck Cable

Pastor Steve and Nopaluck serve at Peace Fellowship Church (PFC) and Santisuk English School (SES) in Bangkok, Thailand. Their vision is for PFC to be a multiplying, healthy, cell church, transforming and impacting their city, nation, and world for the glory of God. They are passionate about church planting and evangelism through PFC, SES, and their network of churches in Bangkok and S. Thailand. The evangelistic outreaches at SES have been instrumental in winning many Thai to Christ. The Cables rely on short-term missionaries to assist with teaching evangelistic English classes at SES. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to serve in an unreached nation. They are looking for individuals and groups who can make a one-month commitment to serve at SES. Steve and Nopaluck will be traveling to Washington, D.C., in June for the Converge Together conference.

How can you pray for the Cables, PFC, and SES?

· More short and long-term workers to help them in Bangkok from July on into the coming years.

· They are working on restructuring the entire Santisuk Ministry by the end of 2027 and need prayers for wisdom on how to best do this.

· Endurance and commitment for their members who are attending seminary.

· Five new believers who were baptized in May.

May 7, 2026 FCC Global Mission Prayer Update Mission Focus Moment: Grace Aasness Grace serves as a campus missionary with Cru in the Twin Cities, primarily at the University of Minnesota. College is a dark place- 70% of students who come from a faith-based home walk away from their faith in college. These students are spiritually hungry and are ready to hear the Good News. Grace is passionate about sharing the gospel, discipling students, and equipping them to become lifelong, Christ-centered future leaders of our world. Additionally, Grace devotes much of her time to Epic, Cru’s ministry that reaches Asian students and helps them grow in faith and community. She has witnessed God transform lives as students place their trust in Christ and step into discipleship, becoming vessels for the Gospel in their classrooms and careers. Grace also helps lead mission opportunities that invite students to live out the Great Commission both locally and globally. How can you pray for Grace and CRU? Pray for the spiritual conversations that students have with their peers on campus- for seeds to be planted, that students would have the courage to share the truth and life of the Gospel, and that students walking in darkness would have softened hearts. Pray for our students being sent on our overseas mission trips to Thailand and France this summer, that they would lean into the Holy Spirit for strength, and for the Gospel to go forth and be received in these countries. Please join me in prayer for God’s provision in this season of building my prayer and financial support team and getting to 100% by the end of the summer to be able to return to campus in August.
