September FCC Global Mission Prayer Update`
John and Terri lead SERVE India, a program that serves workers and communities in rural and tribal areas of India. SERVE India also helps sustain impoverished widows, children, and those suffering from the effects of leprosy. Through established community groups, many widows and abandoned children, as well as lepers, are cared for. Yearly medical camps are offered to treat the health and needs of nearby communities. SERVE India offers a vocational training program for courses in teacher training, learning English, computers, agriculture, sewing, etc. John has traveled extensively between his native country and the US to meet with partners and work with staff. He originally met his wife Terri while attending school in the US. John and Terri have loved and served the people of India for 40 years!
How can you pray for John, Terri, and SERVE India?
- Pray for protection from harm and persecution, as well as the provision of all needs spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
- Pray they would grow deep in their faith to know and love the Lord more.
- Pray for open and willing hearts to be used effectively by the Lord through the gifts they have been given, serving each other, family, and community.
